PAMELA ABALEKPOR

 Pamela is a rising junior at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry. Her academic journey has shown her that education is more than just coursework; it involves meaningful networking, learning from failures, and personal development. Over two years of studying medicine, Pamela has become acutely aware of the healthcare system's inequities. As a certified nursing assistant, she sees firsthand the struggles faced by people of color and those from underrepresented communities, revealing systemic social issues.

To address these disparities, Pamela is developing a free information page with updates on medical advances, at-home treatments, educational resources, and nearby clinics for those without health insurance or access to a doctor. Beyond her passion for healthcare, she values personal hobbies to maintain a healthy student-life balance, believing that harmony is essential for long-term success
