TEIA (WISDOM) SAUNSOCI

Teia Saunsoci, a 16-year-old Omaha Tribe member from Nebraska, also affiliated with Navajo Nation, values community involvement and education. Second eldest of seven siblings, she's passionate about K-Pop, community, and school activities. Teia is a key member of Mika’e Niashinga Youth Council, involved in naming it due to Omaha Tribe creation story. She's thrived in Umonhon Nation Student Council, represented peers at Lakota Nation Student Council Conference, and excels in speech, Quiz Bowl, and Hand Game teams. Recognized for leadership, she attended BOLT Leadership Conference and J.A.G. program. Teia's strong cultural connection fuels her participation in powwows and round dances.
